Which is better, MailChimp or TrafficWave? No monkey business, just the facts!
As I write this blog post targeting mailchimp as my primary keyword, at the same time, I’m sharing this SEO strategy with a group of people using our web based conference room.
While conducting a little keyword research for our Tuesday night training I wanted to find a high volume, low competition keyword that I could use to generate organic traffic for the purposes of sharing TrafficWave with as many people as possible.
While looking at trending keywords for “email marketing” I found a rising search trend for mailchimp. When I entered the keyword mailchimp into the Google AdWords keyword tool I found that mailchimp is currently being searched 165,000 times per month. Obviously my initial thought was “I would really like to have a piece of that traffic.” Thus, the original reason I created this blog post.
That being said, when I started to look around the mailchimp website to see how it compared with TrafficWave, I was impressed with the features and the professional appearance of their templates and other tools. I found, in that regard, that TrafficWave and mailchimp were comparable.
When I clicked the pricing link for mailchimp I noticed a HUGE difference between mailchimp and TrafficWave. With mailchimp, if I wanted to build a big list using organic traffic from Google, by the time I added 50,000 subscribers I would be spending $380 per month. With TrafficWave I can have an infinite number of subscribers and autoresponders and will NEVER pay more than $17.95 per month.
In addition, by simply sharing TrafficWave with other people I can earn monthly commissions that will both pay for my monthly membership as well as build my bank account. All of the newsletter templates I need are already provided within TrafficWave as well.
