MLM Watchdog is quickly becoming one of my favorite sites for news and updates in the world of MLM. As the industry evolves it’s becoming that much more important to stay plugged into the latest information and MLM Watchdog is usually right on point. During my visit to MLM Watchdog, this evening, If found recent news out of the Usana camp that company president Fred Cooper will be launching a new company, called Ariix, as early as the first of July, 2011. Usana review key points: Usana has had it’s fair share of battles and legal issues, over the years. You’d think based on what is posted on MLM Watchdog that you’d find more horror stories via Google. However, in review much of the content through the front page of Google for the keyword Usana Review, I didn’t find a whole lot that painted a negative picture of the company. In fact, out of all listings on the front page, only two were recent. Before making a snap judgement, do the due diligence and get all of the facts.
Management Positions Available
It doesn’t seem like you can get through a day in this industry, anymore, without some sort of upheaval. Unfortunately it’s the people who join and support these companies that end up paying the price.
When a traditional business goes under people get hurt as well. Employees lose jobs and families lose security… and I certainly won’t be so foolish to say that one loss is greater than the other, in that regard. However, when people who are working diligently to make a better way, in the world of MLM, during tough economic times are left hanging in the balance after fallout such as this one can only assume that the last people the people at the top are thinking of are the people who have helped them get to the top.
I’ve seen this happen so many times, in the last 13 years, it’s hard to keep track of it all. Some companies make big claims only to crash and burn. Other companies become divided and leaders leave, taking a remnant with them. For those of you who have been around a while you may remember a company called Going Platinum that was supposed to be the new AOL, about a decade ago? This is just one example on a list of too many to count.
What’s the solution? In a perfect world it would be getting everyone in the industry on the same page, which are odds I’d never take to Vegas. However, I stand firm on the fact that when the people in this industry understand that network marketing is about connecting the right people with the right people then the required changes can take place. It’s never been about products and compensation plans and it never will be. People stay connected to a business because people are staying connected with them.
Unfortunately the “wham, bam thank you Sam” approach to network marketing has tainted the industry to the point where those who still believe face ridicule and mockery from friends and family. What a tragedy when the network marketing model, from a business perspective, is really pure genius.
I believe real leadership is the key to building a successful team. Therefore, whether you are reading this Usana review and update or are reading any other review, always remember to connect with your potential sponsor before typing your credit card number into a sign up form. Do a gut check. Ask yourself “am I joining this on impulse or am I joining this because I’ll be connected to a real group of people who are working together for the benefit of the whole?
